The First Post: Health

I don’t know what your definition of health is, but being healthy isn’t solely about physical fitness. Being truly healthy includes emotional and mental fitness as well.  All three factors make up what we call “health”, and it is impossible for you to call yourself “healthy” if you are lagging behind in any of these three aspects.

Bodies are fed with junk, minds are fed with Ritalin, and emotions with anti-depressants. We live in a world with absurd scenarios, where people who view themselves as “educated” fail to act on the basic requirements needed to take care of themselves.

It is critical for you to strive and regain your lost health. A task which might seem almost impossible, is in reality extremely doable. The human body is a miraculous healing machine, one that compares to none. All it takes is a little help, a slight push in the right direction for it to flourish and exhibit its healing powers. However, rare is the occurrence of people initiating this process willingly. Most choose to age slowly; not changing their destructive habits from the past. They fail to realize that living a pain free life is an option, and chronic conditions and diseases do not have to be the obstacle they think they are.

As the old saying goes, a thousand miles journey starts with one step. However, it is often the first step that is the hardest. The first step is what requires motivation, discipline, and will-power. It is the first step that differentiates the WINNERS from the LOSERS. Laziness is for morons.

The first step must be taken in order for you live healthy lives. Health must be actively sought after. When done right, true health yields tremendous benefits such as:

  • more energy
  • more vitality and vigor
  • a stronger sex drive
  • a stronger immune system
  • increased physical strength
  • emotional balance
  • increased focus and concentration
  • increased motivation
  • reduced risk for heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, and other problems
  • a better physical appearance
  • increased levels of overall happiness and general well-being
  • longevity

….and the list goes on.
